Immunization Programs

Immunizations are available for all children from area through the federally funded Vaccine for Children Program (VFC). To schedule an appointment in Bureau County, please call the Bureau County Health Department at 815-872-5091 ext. 210. To schedule an appointment in Putnam County, please call the Putnam County Health Deapartment at 815-925-7326. Clinics are held at various dates throughout the month at the Bureau & Putnam Health Departments and also at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.

There is a cost for each immunization. Public Aid is accepted. However, services will NOT be denied for inability to pay.
