In the spring of 1999, Craig Beintema, through grants and various funding sources, initiated the opening of the Bureau County Dental Clinic. The clinic began providing dental services to low-income and Public Aid clients. The clinic started on a part-time basis. Dr. Robert Miller, along with two volunteer dentists Dr. Elvin Krabill and Dr. Robert Dawe provided services. At that time we employed one dental assistant. In August of 2000, Dr. David Ingallinera was hired to begin providing a full time, full service dental clinic. Joyce was also hired September 2000, as dental receptionist/office manager and currently to date remains as the dental office manager. Currently the Dental team is staffed by a full-time dentist Dr. Ernesto Villalobos who joined the team in August 2004. The team also includes full-time dental assistant Amy hired in October 2001, part-time assistant Bethany hired in September 2003 and dental receptionist Pat in August 2005. To date the clinic serves 5200 patients, serving Bureau, Putnam, LaSalle, Henry, Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Lee, McLean and other surrounding counties.
